I'm drunk. Good call down. [/ QUOTE ] I don't know.... He had an A... I think I should have folded the turn. The only way I'm winning is if he is semi-bluffing with a J, or I hit my Q, or possibly my K. I'd say I have between 4 or 5 outs (barely enough to justify a call) but I may be drawing dead, and perhaps that swings it to a fold. Anyone disagree? |

Re: Folding To a Stop N\' Go
When the board pairs like that on the turn, his betting out is almost always a two-pair hand. In this case, he's got an A. If he had a T, he would check-raise it. But you usually won't see a (semi-) bluff here, you'll be looking at an A. Now granted, playing SH you'll run into a fair share of wackos that take crazy lines with crazy hands, but this just smells like an A here.
Call the turn, fold the river for one bet. |

Re: Folding To a Stop N\' Go
Against an unknown i think this turn stop and go is close enough to a pure bluff enough of the time to justify the call down, am I too loose for thinking this?
edit: crap! The Dude totaly takes a different line. I'm opening another beer and stopping any hand commenting for the night. |

Call the turn, fold the river for one bet. [/ QUOTE ] Thanks dude. That's seems reasonable. If a K hits, do you raise? If so and you are 3-bet, do you fold? |

Re: Folding To a Stop N\' Go
This is a standard play for someone afraid of their kicker. The 10 gives him a J kicker and he's ready to fire with his ace again. There is no reasonable holding that you beat here, only a pure bluff. You'll almost never see a pure bluff stop and go. Easy fold, imho.
