The trifecta thread got me thinking about a hypothetical situation.
Given: (0) You're playing Limit Hold'em, Heads Up on the flop. (1) You know that your opponent will bet or raise whenever possible. (2) You have the nuts or virtual nuts and will at least raise any bet. Checking is still an option. (3) You are first to act. Now, we know that the action will be capped on every street no matter what (assume a 4 bet cap). The question is do you bet on every street, check on every street, or some combination of bet/check? The obvious answer is that as long as you know your opponent will bet/3-bet or raise/cap, it doesn't matter. You'll have to delve into meta-game reasons or just personal preference to find an answer. This IS a stupid question, but I think stupid questions sometimes lead to interesting/enlightening conversations. - Jason |
