I need computer help

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question, so I apologize if it isn't.

My school is preventing students from playing poker and downloading music by blocking specific ports during the day. I have access to an offsite server, and wonder if anyone knows how i can tunnel through it. I don't really know all that much about computers at this level, but I think the problem is making party get its data from the offsite server instead of directly from the party server. Can anyone help me?

If you can tell your poker software to connect to localhost, then you might be able to get it setup. Go take a look at a piece of tunneling software called httport. I used it to use IM clients at school a while ago.
