Default 40-80 QQ hand

6 handed

CO open raises, Clark 3-bets from the button, you 4-bet from the SB with red QQ. Fishy BB calls, CO calls, Clark calls.

Flop: Ac 8c 2s. Checked to Clark who bets. What's your play?

what is CO's M/O?? the looser he is, the looser clark raises, the more likely i am to continue.

the tighter he is, the more likely it is clark has a good ace here...

but either way im trying tosee a showdown a good percentage of the time

so i call the flop and see what develops...

I think I raise here, but 10sb or so is the cut off point. Smaller than that and I fold.

i'd bet out that flop.

if i get a few callers and you raise, then i know you aren't expecting to steal the hand. if its folded to you and you raise, then i'll call and check/fold turn.

I'm gonna have to agree with Barron here. I'd call and see what develops. I'd reserve the right to check-fold, check-raise, or bet-fold the turn depending on the action and the turn card.

Raise.

Except there's a good chance that Clark will know I will raise. Which makes me wonder more what hand he'd hold. I still raise.

However, i can maybe see calling since you have a preflop aggressor behind you. The call of clarks bet may slow him down if he doesn't have an A. Then assess for the turn, if I make it there. I hate just calling here though. It just seems so...........weak.

Then ask for a table change.

I think Clark expects me to see a showdown with QQ, and he is betting into 3 people, so I think he has the ace. I think I probably have enough odds to spike my queen and get paid off. I would fold the turn unimproved.

First thing is - knowing it's Clark there, what do we think, that he thinks, about the CO and our ranges and the standard 2+2 play (you/us) against him is in this spot. Without that, where do you/we begin?

I am not 4 betting from the sb preflop with QQ here even against Clarky's obvious isolation raise on the button. I check call this down probably.
