If you have only been playing on play money tables, then I would recommend you starting out at the .5/1 tables on Party. The 2/4 game is going to be much harder than the play money tables. Working your way up would be very beneficial if you have only played for play money.

Also, 300BB is a good place to start, but if you are not a winning player at that level, than it may not last. Good luck.

If you are a beginner, unless you are willing to lose some money at 2/4, start at .50/1. 2/4 is very aggressive and if you hit a bad run you can expect to lose a large part of your bankroll. Start at .50/1 and take advantage of bonuses to build a bankroll.

The lowest level Party offers is .50/1.

I don't know about the other places, but when I played microstakes like that, I played at Pacific Poker.

i started on the 2/4 at party when i first started playing for real. i had a bankroll of 500 when i started and it was gone in two weeks. granted i did not know how to play very good. i reinvested with 250 and played on the 05/1 tables and i improved my game and kept my bankroll about even. i defintly would suggust you start on the .5/1 if you are going to play on party.
