Default 200 buy in NL Bellagio question

200 dollar max buy in NL table (at bellagio)

2/5 blinds ....just got moved from a "feeder" table to their 2 main NL
tables with 280 bucks ...moved to main table with at least 6 stacks over
700

saw about 6 hands ...played 2 from late position (KQ) and (AJ) folded when
no help and huge bets start coming out

player to my left has about 350 and is getting annoyed with no playable
hands...(he was "whining a bit")

here's the hand he got to play with me...

7 limpers ....

i've got pocket 4's and i call from small blind

flop comes Qc 7c 4d

i bet out for 20

he comes over the top for 50.... (i put him on a flush draw or 2 pair)

my question is what bet would you throw back at this point to him????

thanks in advance......

Do you still have $280? How much is in the pot on the flop? $40? You make it 20 (I would make it the full 40 here), he makes it 50, and leaving $110 in the pot and $40 for you to call. I would raise him atleast another hundred, probably 120, to $170 in total and push the turn regardless of what happens.

pushing here is fine, but i'd probably call and checkraise all-in on a non 8, 3, or threeflush turn. you'll get called by the flush draw in that game if you push the flop, but you have the chance to induce a much bigger mistake, so why not?

And what if he pushes on an 8, a 3, or a three flush? Do you fold?

I think it's a little too convenient that you know exactly what outs Villain has here in this case.

um, on the flop there is only one possible OESD and there's a flush draw. filling in the cards to be most scared of doesn't require knowledge of his specific hand.

to an 8 or a 3, im not folding, but i will look for a cheaper showdown. To a flush, i'll lay it down if the pot odds warrant.
