Default KQ Question

So I have been playing my 10+1s and I was wondering if KQ and KQs are even playable in the first level of these sit n gos and if they are under what condition do you play them?

Default Re: KQ Question

Note: this refers only to early levels. obviously, when the BB is 1/5 of your stack, KQ is a great hand.

i play them the same way that i play 78 and 78s. that is, as drawing/bluffing hands. i'm likely to limp in late position with KQs, but almost never play KQo. i almost never raise with either.

It is often -EV to play this as a top pair hand for a big pot. the result of this is that you can't properly protect your hand when it is best. thus, you can only count on being able to play the hand for big hand (flush, straight, trips) potential.

it's pretty worthless. you could do worse than folding it every time.
