two ugly QQ hands

Here are two ugly QQ hands from earlier today. I botched 'em, but I'd like to hear what others might have done differently. Sorry about the format, Pokerroom hands won't convert right now.

1st one is fairly routine, but I still have questions (posted after the history):

looking back I realize what an incredibly poor play I made (esp. b/c villain had been pretty quiet until this hand). But is this an auto-fold on the flop? a flat call? a medium raise?... would anyone else be tempted to do my rash all-in play?
