Default PACIFIC POKER IS TERRIBLE

I just signed up and get in a 200 man tourney. I was in teh top 10 and flopped a flush and I locked up. They must be having some DNS issue. I flopped a flush got a guy all in and boom, broke..... Figures, I just signed up. They better give me something for this. It can't be just me though, I am playing on Stars and Part together with no problems at all. What a joke.....

I disagree.

The way the company is run, and how they try to screw you when they compute the NL rake makes it not worth the trouble.

Oh yeah, they punish winning players too.
So you don't want to be one of those if you play on Pacific.

been at pacific (among others)for a long time and i agree, pacific is probably the worst among all, but i have been winning there for ahwile playing multi's and sng's and i find those games very easy to get in the money. i wont play nl games b/c of the rake there and the limit games are too tight now. i will get my ring game action elsewhere but i will have to disagree and say that pacific has very profitable tourny's.
and as for the way it's ran, i have never had a problem cashing out or any dishonesty in any way...though the disconnections suck ass

Oh there is plenty of dishonesty at Pacific.
I only played there for a little while, but once I heard (on 2+2) about all the crap they were pulling, I got my money out of there.

Since then, I've advised everyone to do the same.

thank you for the heads up, seriously, no sarcasm there. i will think about it. a little advice from you though: i have my real bankrolls on ub and stars. on pacific i just sit with my roll around 400-500 and when i place in multi's i just cash out those winnings back down to 4 or 5 hundred. do you think its worth cashing out ALL of my money or is the way i am doing it safe? or maybe no way is safe? just curious what thought you have on this. thx

Honestly, I don't think they make a habit of overtly stealing your money. So, it's probably safe.

For me, it's simply a matter of not giving any more money (rake, etc.) to a site that treats its winning players so badly. Okay... ALL their players.

The only other reason I can give you is that Pacific's cashouts are ridiculously long.

if and when a reload bonus is announced on poker stars this month, I would take the pacific money and deposit the max into poker stars and stay there. your next $120-150 worth of SNG and MTT fees will then be 100% refunded in the end.
