Should I have seen the flop? I felt I was getting good implied odds if I got a favorable flop (straight or flush draw, may need to lay down TP, depending on action). All players involved were pretty weak, according to my stats on them. Also, even though I'm getting about 7 to 1 on my turn cold call, is this a good idea when the board is paired? Regardless of outcome, should I have laid down on the turn?

Who would 3-bet the river if it were raised, given the turn action? BTW, I included the results because I feel it's pretty obvious what the results were anyway given the river action. |

If you were not the first person to call the 2 bets, I would say it's ok as long as a few people came in before you. But you also have to consider the chances of the original raiser capping it. |

Do you guys call this UTG to begin with?? Seems like a pretty loose call to me.

You definitely got lucky here on a few points, but you took a gamble to win a pretty big sized pot and I think you made the right decisions, even on the turn. It was two bets back to you (on the turn) - the pot was around 8 to 1 and you were a 5 to 1 underdog to hit your suit. Well played IMO.

I'd like to point out that had I not been 90% sure the other two limpers would be in with me, I probably would've folded, but it is a close call so I'm asking you guys.
I like to limp in EP with any non-ace suited broadway. They would've been in the muck had they been off suit. |
