I'm real confused, whats the proper play here?

This was in my first round of playing at this table, so I don't have a read on this guy other then he called a guy down on every street with Q6 on a Q high flop to win the hand I sat down on.

What do I do here?

Bet, you do not want to give a free card on this draw heavy board - if he check-raises you, you could think about folding on account of the pot being pretty small.

Doesn't the river decision depend heavily on the river card?

this probably will get you more informed and intelligent responses in the heads-up and shorthanded forum, but I'm betting the turn and river here, and folding to raises on either street.

The SB's hand is not random anymore. It looks like he has a K with a cruddy kicker. Hero's raise on the flop made him slow down. Given hero's previous read, this fits pretty well with what probably happened.

I would fold the flop. The pot is tiny (3SB), really not worth fighting for with such a weak hand.

I would bet the turn and then check behind on the river.

I think you either fold or raise the flop. You raised, which was a good play. I am inclined to do what you did here and raise on the flop because your opp is in the SB and could be playing with 6X or AX. If he was a good player in EP or MP I'd probably fold the flop HU.

So on the turn I think you bet it. If you get c/r, then I am out of there because the pot is so small.

Again, PT stats make this an easier decision.
