I call $10
Flop (Pot size: $105)
A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I check, UG bets $15, 2 calls, Raise to $30, call, I call, UG calls, 1st to caller call.
Turn (Pot size:$285)

Should I never have called the first $10? (I relize Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is not exactly a power house.
Or maybe I should not have called on the draw on the flop.
Was pushing on the turn not smart?

You got all the money in the pot when you had the nut flush and your opponents were drawing to 5 outs. You couldn't ask for more. You had a very small chance of losing -- but you did. In my opinion, that's poker. Of course, you could have avoided losing by going all in pre-flop and stabbing the player w/ A-K in the neck before he called your bet. The player with K-6 would have probably folded.

You either had great pot odds or a monster hand on every street until the bad beat, and got all the money in when you were way ahead. The only decision that's anything close is pre-flop, and that's only if you don't have the discipline to release a one-pair hand that could be dominated.

Really.
