Blinds are 6-12k. Folded around to the Small blind who has 6-2 of clubs and 160k in chips and raises to 36k. The big blind who is holding Q-3 of diamonds and 150k in chips calls. The flop 458r. Small blinds bets 50k - Big blind moves in. Small blind calls. Who made the bigger mistake.

I don't like the BB play at all. If he put the SB on high cards or a pair PF then he's behind, and if he put him on a steal that flop very well could have hit him. Unless the BB's read is he'll fold for his last 80K after already putting in 1/2 his chips which is a very big gamble on Q high.

I also don't really like the SB's steal attempt here with a hand like 6-2s unless his read on the BB was very weak tight which is obviously not the case.

in my opinion I don't really like the way either player played the hand.

SB steal is fine. BB defense is very dubious.

SB bet is okay (i prefer a push or a c/r push). BB push is bad w/ only 3 outs against any pair. if he had Q6 or QJ (gutshot or overcards) i would like it better, but still wouldn't really like it.

SB thinks he has 8 outs--odds are almost (not quite?) right for him to make this play.

BB, as was said, either had to put SB onto 2 big ones or a steal--he's probably screwed either way?

I think BB's play was clearly worse.
