Default Party 15-30 88 hand

Since I never seem to post any hands, here's one I thought was at least somewhat interesting. Comments?

Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP1 raises, 5 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.66 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, Hero raises, MP1 calls.

Turn: (4.33 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP1 raises, Hero calls.

River: (8.33 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls.

Final Pot: 10.33 BB

Without a read on the oppoent, I think you get a river bet out of your opponent >50% of the time, and he'll pay off anything with which he would call a bet in the first place. I'd go for the checkraise and feel fine when he checked behind.

you still think you're ahead when MP1 raises the turn? I dont play 15/30, but I would fold here against most players. Is this a leak?

i am prob. calling a river bet unimproved there, as the pot is pretty good sized now, and you are getting 8.33-1 on your call.

he will have unimproved high cards at least that much.

I can't imagine any hands getting out of line on this board, if the board had a 3 flush then sometimes Ah does semi-bluff raise but even that is rare. However applying rational thought to party poker players never goes well so anytime anyone is getting around 10:1 it may be best to call just in case he's in the 9% of total idiots.

I fold this river unimproved, but i am curious if nate schieds, gonores etc think it's a mistake.

Depending on the player, I may reraise this hand preflop and bet out on the flop.
I would likely checkraise the river here.
