OK, here goes, my first hand post.
MP2 was immediately to my left and had the habit of always raising whenever I called in this game (and my VP$IP is < 20%). I think MP3 noticed this and tried to get the pot heads up. I called 2 bets because I thought my hand was not all that bad if they were playing each other. When I flopped an ace I went for the check raise. When MP3 raised it in front of me I gave it up - my feeling is that I need a much stronger hand to raise or even call in this situation. I don't feel too bad about folding, but I am wondering if I should have bet out on the flop, or maybe folded before the flop. 1/2 goes in Micros.
Anyway, on the hand: fold preflop the first time around, and clearly fold preflop the second time around. Then fold the flop. Rob |

A-10o is a easily dominated hand. Don't mistake a 3 bet for an isolation play, though it could be against a LAG. However, being that as it is, no way you can call 2 bets cold with A-10o. AJo would be a borderline here. I'd lead the flop here, and fold to a raise and reraise.

NEO (Non expert opinion) I am folding this pre-flop... You are gonna be behind alot more than ahead with A10.

From middle position, this is an easy open-raise. If it gets capped back to you it's almost always a fold unless the capper is a maniac. There aren't many hands that call for an open limp in that position, and ATo is certainly not one of them.

I'd play this against a passive field. Clearly fold to a 3-bet. You are probably up against a bigger ace and a big pocket pair where neither an ace nor a ten will help you.
