I'm heading to Reno in March. I was at the Sands Regency website where they say they are "opening" Mom's Poker Room in December 2004. Has anyone checked this out yet? Is it even open for business? I found the info at the following link: Sands Regency
Thanks in advance for the response! |

FYI - I received a response to an email I sent to Sands Regency and confirmed that Mom's Poker Room is up and running in Reno. I'll let everyone know how it is after visiting in March.

THey basically roped off part of the sportsbook area and added 3 tables. All they had was one 3/6 table going (with 1.2 blinds) when I stopped by. Really nothing special, go to Peppermill or El Dorado instead. Plus that whole casino is really smoky.

I'm going to Reno this weekend and am compiling a list of rooms to check out. Has anyone been here yet? If so, what are your impressions?
