Do you listen to music?

I've heard from a lot of online players and some live players that they listen to music while they play. I am curious to see what type of music is on in the background while they play. Please reply, don't be shy!

I subscribe to Napster and listen to pretty much anything although I save Eminem for final tables and SnGs, and classical is for the times I sense tilt.

Why did you lump modern rock and pop together and metal and rap? Of your choices I would have to say modern rock.

Where is Alt. Country? Thats what I would chose if giving the opportunity. And maybe Folk as well.

Sorry about the choices all. I did not mean to start a war here. I lumped Heavy Metal and Rap together to try to get more of a louder, faster, non-sing along type. The modern rock and pop together is more of the "Top 40" genre that you'd here on a local radio station.

I'll try to be more careful if I ever ask this question again.

I didn't vote because I listen to what I'm in the mood for. So, it changes from day to day. I do love to listen o music while playing though.

Where does jazz (not easy listening crap, real jazz) fall under the options given? Or blues for that matter. That's what I usually listen to when playing online.

Classic Rock, mostly live Doors/Hendrix/Springsteen.

I've won so much listening to disc one of Springsteen Live in NY that I'm convinced it is magical.

i listen to alt.country or folk and sad bastard music like that on shuffle early in tourneys (although 2 tourneys in a row i got busted as it was cueing up "the gambler", which was weird)

i've found that something about The Postal Service works really well at final tables. it's become good luck for me.
