Default 178 30+3: 31% ITM, 2.15% ROI

been lazy and havent d/l stats this month. but when i did, woah...

1st: 26
2nd: 12
3rd: 17

I would have thought w/all those 1st place finishes that I was making more than 2% ROI. Guess I was wrong

31% ITM is atrocious. You should aim for 40%.

Hey now. 31% is average. Remember, for everyone above 30%, there are people below that too. At 30+3, i give even the losing players credit for being decent.

I would use the following:

50%+ ITM: Sublime
45% ITM: Real good
40% ITM: Pretty decent
35% ITM: Grinding
30% ITM: Hope its a hobby, not a job
25% ITM: Ugh
20% or less: Atrocious

I'll qualify that. 31% is atrocious for someone who studies the boards at 2+2.

31% ITM technically isnt even beating the rake... your huge number of firsts are what makes you positive.

is 178 large enough sample size? i've read about guys on here having a negative ROI over 200 SNGs even though they play poker as a sole income.

Don't sweat it, dude. 178 games is a small sample. If it's any consolation, I was in a $22 yesterday with SevnFigures (regularly one of the leaders in tourney points and a player who buys in dirrectly to the $1000s) and he/she busted out fourth. We all go through dry spells.

It's a small sample for ROI, but not so small for ITM that he shouldn't be concerned for 31%.

It's not likely to be his "aim" that's keeping his ITM down.
