Re: flop middle pair backdoor flush
RAISE PREFLOP.
But since you didn't... fold the flop. It's only 5 small bets when the action's to you. Even if all your outs are clean (3 Aces, 2 Ten's, and 1.5 for backdoor flush = 6.5), you're not getting the odds to continue in this hand. If there's any doubt, look at your read: "utg is typical la/p..." (Fold on the turn is definitely correct.) Adam Adam |

Re: flop middle pair backdoor flush
Raise Preflop, this hand would play totally different had you did this.
Flop: Your opponent is La/P, meaning his betting here probably indicates top pair or better. On first glance it looks like you probably have 6 outs. You're close but still on the bad side of getting correct odds from the pot and you aren't closing the action. This is a fold. When you look a little deeper this is more clear due to possible straight that may already exist and your A could complete an OESD. Thus your 6 outs are pretty tainted. Turn:Since you are still around definately fold the turn. |
