I haven't experience a nasty pesonality from playing poker. ALthough I sometimes have a nasty attitude after a really bad session. Or when I bust out of a tournament...

This nastiness is not because of poker.
It may be because of gambling.
Think about it.

I only get nasty when I'm constantly being pestered (ok, maybe even when someone justs asks me a simple question). Away from the tables I'm fine.

I think that poker can negatively affect people, as seen by their ranting about bad beats etc. However, to a seasoned player, it contributes to a good personality. Since I've started playing poker I've adapted to become more disciplined and more patient which both help me get along with people better.

i have noticed that people that play poker and are not good poker players tend to have bad personalities, but people that play poker and are good at poker are usually very nice people...
