Default If Negreanu wins in Tunica...

..his run in the WPT this year will be the most amazing accomplishment ever in poker.

And it's not close.

I agree, I think it would be on an even keel with Johnny Chan's great run in the late 80's but maybe even bigger because of the huge fields in today's events

Default He\'s Chip Leader w/9 to go....

..although Chau Giang is close, according to the pokerpages blog.

I was just going to start a thread; Dan=sick beyond belief. Nice guy, too. He's gonna blow up like the World Trade once the XBox game comes out. How much dough'll that be, huh?!

Prediction: Within five years DN will be a high executive at a major casino. The next Bobby Baldwin. Give him credit, he put himself in position to take advantage of the boom.

Interesting thoughts.

Dunno if you knew this but he's been chosen as a big representative for the new Wynn Las Vegas hotel.

Daniel's run has been great and I expect him to continue dominating poker, but come on, I think you are exaggerating. I think Daniel himself would agree that Chan's stretch was more impressive.

Pokerwire.com hasn't released the chip count of the final 6, but Danny has busted the majority of players recently, so I'm guessing he has the lead.

My mistake, looks like he must have lost some pots as well. Chau Giang has the chip lead with over $1.4 million.
