Default First Internet Tournament

I just took part in the Pacific Poker big nightly tournament, my first tournament. Early on I was up to about 2k and everyone else was at around 800. It seemed that only this other guy and myself were playing any hands. Everyone else folded whenever anyone else bet (Bots?). Anyways, I'm in a hand with the other "real" player and I have Q8s in BB. The flop is Qxx. I bet, he raises, I call. The turn is x. I bet, he calls. The river is Q. I go all in. He calls. He had Q9!!!!!

I should have folded.

I ended up 2040 out of 3000.

Oh well. I've already signed up for the next tournament tomorrow night. I can't wait!
