Default HU trapping strategy

I've had great success lately with a certain (perhaps typical) HU strategy. Basically, I min. raise every time I'm SB. Usually the other guys folds. When he calls, I'm still probably at least 40% to win. When he reraises, I'll usually give it up right away and if I have a particularly terrible holding, I'll show it to him. After a few successes at coming over the top of me, Villain starts to think this is a good play for him, especially since he's getting shown rags when I fold. So, he'll start playing back almost to the point - and sometimes past it - where my steals are a losing proposition. However, I don't always have rags and eventually he makes a bold move and I punch him back. I've ended a lot of HU situations with this trap. The reason it works is because to come over my raise (making it 2XBB) he'll usually put in like 6XBB. The blinds are usually so big by HU time that he's now pot-committed.

What do you guys think about this play and can you come up with a scenario where it would be a poor strategy?
