Looking again for someone to stake him. This time it's 25%.

He's had that auction up for about a week now with a bunch of smaller 1% stakes.

Why doesn't he play a tournament on an internet site to get the $2000? Even I'm capable of winning two grand online, I'm sure he is to. I mean give me a break, if he can't raise two thousand dollars than why would anyone back him? I can understand a backer for like a 10-25k event, but 2k? Thats pretty low if you ask me.

His 1% auctions all have bids and are up to quite a bit more than the minimum bids now. 130-180.

Will they pay?

I wasn't aware short buses serviced 12 yr olds to college.

Not that I think he's some great guy or anything, but it's just funny that you used this illustration.

Wait a minute, they're paying MORE than 1% of the entry fee to get 1% of Dutch? Wow. He should just sell 100 of these and tank the tournament. Free money!

I love this line.

This year I played a few more events with The Crew (a group of young players like myself) and watched as we took down three gold bracelets.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, so he watched other people win bracelets, I want to back him!

FYI...the buy in for this WSOP Curcuit event is 10k (hence the 1% auctions for $100). Also...just about all the big name pros are staked in these tournaments. I would challenge you to find one who pays his own way to each and every tournament he plays in.
