Default 30/60 KJs hand

7 handed 30/60 live game

I have KJs in the SB.

MP player opens(he's a little loose, very straightforward in his play), a Calling Station calls in the CO, and a little loose very aggressive thinking player calls on the button(play the player type). I call in the SB the BB folds.

4 players 8sb

Flop K J 8 r

I check for a dirty play, MP(PFR) checks, CS checks, the button bets, I change plans and just call, PFR calls, CS calls.

6 BB
Turn 4

I bet, PFR folds, CS calls, Button raises, I 3 bet, CS folds, Button calls

13BB
River A

I bet

Ok, how bad is the PF call? Make it heads up on the flop or keep them in?

Check raising the flop is better. Any A,Q,T,9, or 7 could fill someone's inside straight draw which they would be getting odds to call with on the flop (and you especially have to worry about an A giving someone a better two pair if they stuck around with AJ or A8). You're top two is somewhat vulnerable, but more importantly it sounds as those these people are very likely to pay you off anyway. I suppose it turned out well, in that you were able to bet the turn and get raised by the button (although if he capped you would have to worry about a set), but often check raising the flop will get more bets in.
