Default SSHE - missing pages / repeated section

I recently purchased SSHE from Amazon.com and after page 196, pages 181-196 are repeated again. Then it jumps right to page 213. Has this happened to anyone else or is this just a random flook?

Yeah it happened to a bunch of us who purchased the book at the very beginning. Just have Amazon do an advance exchange, so you can keep reading other sections until you receive the replacement.

Amazon is amazing about exchanges -- you'll have your replacement usually inside of a week and you need only send back yours inside of the month, so keep reading the other sections 'til your new one arrives -- and you will ONLY be charged for the second one if they don't get back the first inside of that month.

As to why it happened -- some of the 1st printings came like this, they randomly had a 1st printing laying around that you unfortunately got. It happens.

I had the same thing happen to me a couple months back when I purchased my copy of SSHE from Amazon, except that pages 277-292 (mostly flop- and turn-play hand quizzes ) were missing. To make a long story short, I found this out about a month after buying the book and never notified Amazon. However, my copy is fairly well-read and worn. For those of you who have been through this with Amazon, would I still be able to get a fixed version of the book or do I have to buy a new copy? Thanks in advance

Hi cain06:

If you have a bad book it's best to return it to the place of purchase. If that can't be done, you can always send it to us and we will replace it.

Send it to:

Two Plus Two Publishing LLC

Make sure to include your full mailing address.

Best wishes,
Mason

Hi everyone,

I notified Amazon and they sent me a new book immediately. As soon as I got the book, I took the damaged book to the post office and sent it back to them using the postage I printed out from Amazon's site. It was a very easy process.
