Recently saw Super Size Me

Wow, I liked it. You Americans (I'm Canadian) are Fat! And notice I am spelling Fat with an F. That movie made me think about what I eat and it opened my eyes about how fat society is getting in general. I would encourage anyone who enjoys fast food to go and see it. It will make you think. I thought it was well done and will inspire you to drop some weight if you are obese.
Poker players are known for being on the chunky side. Long hours sitting at the poker table after hitting that casino buffet. Not a winning combination. The winners of the WSOP are getting fatter every year.

The only thing SuperSizeMe tought me was that you should use your brain. If you really think deep fried potatoes and beef by the pound is healthy, then by all means get fat and die, we need less of those genes.

I saw that movie last week. I thought it was great. I have decided to give up fast food entirely (for a while anyway). I don't know if that will make me any healther, but it can't hurt.

Also if you are not from America, I would caution you against simply watching it to laugh at how fat Americans are (as fun as that may be). I have heard that the obesity epidemic that has hit America it not far behind in other countries.

It's true that people are also getting fatter in places like China and Europe, but America still leads by an, err, healthy margin.

What many who watch this movie fail to recognize is that the guy in "Super Size Me" did little exercise and overall lived a very unhealthy lifestyle. Food was just one of the determinants. I recommend you watch Stossel's piece on the movie, aired on ABC News, in which he's met and talked to people who ate McDonald's for 30 days and actually lost weight and cholesterol. What they happened to do was exercise and only eat 3 meals a day.

To blame McDonald's for turning people into fatasses is to blame Marleboro for giving you lung cancer. The whole movie reeks of "I have no responsibility for my own actions".
