I'd go 350. Extract as much as you can from it as I strongly think your hand is good to his AJ or the likes.

Bet 600. Make it look like a steal.

Actually, I missed seeing that he was the BB. Downgrade that quality of hands even more.. I don't think he's going to be calling on the river with just a naked Ace. If he has a lower 2 pair - you're very good.

Seeing this, I'd bet $250 and see what he does from there - I'd want to get paid off and only a hand that beats you bad will raise. Most stars players IMO aren't aggressive enough to raise the turn with Ax 2 pair.

I tend to go around $260 or so.

After 3 rounds of betting they tend to realise their TPWK may not be good and are sometimes unwilling to call more.

Tbach,

Don't you think that a hand that's dominated would fold to a 600$ bet in a second? Bruiser raised preflop, bet the turn, and is going to show aggression on the river as well.

With a naked Ace, he's dumping. You get 0$ from that play and are in a world of hurt if he's an idiot with JT.

Haveing no idea what type of player this guy is, and not knowing your current read on him, I am going to assume hes sort of a weak calling station. In this case I would raise $200-$500, and hope for a call. I put him on Ax. He probably won't raise you, but will probably call any raise pot size or smaller. An over bet might work here to, it would be easier to tell you, if you gave some more information

You must be joking tbach, it's impossible to make it look like a steal after betting preflop, flop and turn on that board.

You are right, 600 is too much. I misread the board. I thought that there was a two-flush on board and perhaps that Bruiser could bet 600 representing a missed flush. Since the board isn't what I thought it was, I think that 250 is more appropriate. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

Not joking. Just misread the board. Sorry about that.

On a side-note, if the board was suited, would an overbet representing a missed flush draw be more appropriate?
