Default AQ TPTK deep

Opponent has reasonable stats:
380 hands - VP$ 26% - PFR 10% - WonaAtSD 65% - WentSD 23%

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

Hero ($87.7)
Button ($46.65)
SB ($36.75)
BB ($225.21)
UTG ($41.3)
MP ($23.75)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG folds, MP folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3</font>, Button calls $3, SB (poster) calls $2.75, BB calls $2.50.

Flop: ($12) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $9</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $30</font>, SB folds, BB folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $51

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
No showdown. Button wins $51. </font>

FWIW, afterwards he told me he had KQs.
In the long run, what is best, call, fold, push?

does he have a history of overbetting the pot? What does deep in your title mean? These stacks do not look that deep.

Good fold. The only reasonable hand you're against here that you're beating is KQ. I'd expect to see a set or a straight here much more often than KQ. Calling this bet is definitely -EV IMHO.

And BTW, make your standard raise more than $3 at the .50/1 level. People will call with very marginal holdings for a 3X BB raise, so make it $5 or $6.

Whoops, sorry, then the converter's a little screwy. It says $ BB at the top of your post. Then in that case, everything looks fine.
