Default Problem #2: Poker Widower

Well be careful what you wish for.

Taught my wife how to play and now she is at the stage where she can't get enough poker -- How do I play this? What should I do about that? That hand, no matter what everyone else says, is no good for me. Bad beats. How did you do today. etc.

Reminds me of the show or beer commercial where the guys are engrossed in football and one girl comes up and asks, "Don't you think it's a mistake to roll back into a cover 2 this early in the game with only a 14 point lead?" The guys scowl and wave her away and get up to quit watching.

So . . . how do I escape the all poker, all the time home environment? Well, not escape the home, but reframe the environment?

2 solutions

1. Kill her
2. Enjoy it rather then escape it
