Dell 2001FP discount question
hello all, I recently purchased a 2001FP (for my dorm here in the states), and would like to purchase another one for my home in Canada. however, when I try to purchase the monitor from the dell.ca website, I can't get the 15% discount for dell home customers.
I was able to get that discount on the US site by following links people supplied here on the site (the site immediately gave me the "dell home customers" discount). when I try to apply some fresh coupons for the canadian site, it too won't work since it says it's for dell home customers only. I do, in fact, own a dell at my home in Canada as well. how did people get a link that would apply the discount for dell home customers automatically? or how were they able to get the discount applied themselves? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks! |

Re: Dell 2001FP discount question
We have the same problem here in California, they charge us more for cars because they can. Can you order it to your dorm in the US? I would try that route first, then if you cant I would try calling dell customer service(whe you have a free afternoon) and see if you can get it done over the phone. Also, if you have any good findings, please let everyone here know, there are a lot of Canadians here who would be interested.

Re: Dell 2001FP discount question
I got one last week for 560. I'm sure another discount that good will come around soon. I wouldn't settle for 15% off, since I believe the price is still 749 or 799
