Diurnal Party overfish complaint (out of season?)
It's 3 AM PST. Every 2/4 table I can find on Party eventually assumes the following lineup or reasonable facsimile thereof:
TP-P 7/1 TA-N 19/9 TA-A 17/8 TA-A 17/7 TA-N 15/8 TA-A 18/13 (me) And 3 other players. Not only is there no profit, it's not a lot of fun. I mean, why bother beating this stupid 2/4 (if even I can) when I can go beat my head against the wall in the 10/20 at Muckleshoot? At least there I can ogle the cocktail waitresses. Here I gotta listen to Lou Pate. Here's the point of my whining: Is it possible I'm simply playing too late? If I were to play at, say, 6 PM PST would the games be better? |

Re: Diurnal Party overfish complaint (out of season?)
Early morning on the west coast is the worst time at Party IMO. Lots of TAGS who need to go to bed and alot of the fishies (people who work, go to school, have a life other than poker basically) are long asleep.
I've also found, that in the morning hours (~5am PT - 9am) are some of the juiciest games on 2/4. I say that, because the multitabling TAGs are not around like they are during prime time hours and the Euro fishies are starting to play. There are some European multitablers but a much smaller number compared to the Euro fish getting off of work. I say this from a small sample size, since I've only played through the night a few times, but I see 3 or 4 calling stations per table sometimes at these off hours. |

Re: Diurnal Party overfish complaint (out of season?)
I've been playing 5/10 since 3AM EST and the games are really nice. I took down a 42bb pot, people were capping every street (including preflop) with middle pair, gutshot on the flop, Ace with rag kicker etc. I usually play from 3AM to 6AM EST and 2PM to 6PM EST. Games are fairly decent at these times IMHO.
