Default Playing Live tonight.

If this is the wrong forum then I apologize in advance. I normally play .50/1 online quite a bit and read the forums alot. I go to my local B & M room once a week for some 4/8 and a tourney. I do pretty well at the tourney but not so well at the 4/8 game. At .50/1 my VPIP is around 19% and my PFR is around 8%. Should I be changing my style of play much between the online game and the B&M? And if so what adjustments should I make? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Are people not giving you any action when you get into a pot? You might try playing a few more hands and/or throwing in a few just for advertising.

It obviously depends on the game conditions but for typical Vegas or AC 4/8 game 19% VP$IP is usually way too tight, you can safely play many more hands, especially if they are suited. Of course, if you are not comfortable committing $4, $8 and sometimes $12 pre-flop with something like 98s maybe you shouldn't.
Being looser than most here, I would say that 19% VP$IP is a bit too tight even for .5/1 internet game (PartyPoker) if your goal is to win as much as possible, but it's not a big mistake at all and learning to play tight-agressive, as opposed to loose-agressive will definately be useful when you move up to higher levels.
