Default Mistake on the river???

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises</font>, CO folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, SB folds, BB folds, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 caps</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.75 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (9.75 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">MP2 bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, MP2 calls.

Final Pot: 17.75 BB

I played this hand really loose on the flop. And the turn was close call, but multitabling, I didn't really pay much attention to this hand till I got to the river.

MP2 is a little looser than a 2+2er, but he didn't seem terrible post flop. Given the preflop capping and the reraise on the flop, I decided that it was extremely unlikely that he had two hearts in his pocket. What do you guys think?

How bout mistake on the flop, toss it to the flop bet and move on.

River: call the 3 bet, don't cap. Most likely your looking at a split pot

I figured the mistake on the flop was a given. That flop play by me was awful. Lost my focus and discipline for a bit is the only excuse I have. But then when reraised on the river, and I thought about the hands he could be holding, almost all of them had me a winner. A few of them had me splitting the pot.

Unless he had made an error as big as the one I made on the flop, I figured I had to have him beat.
