Default KQ on the Button - Can I get more out of my play?

Only 8 hands into the game so no reads. This is a pretty straight forward hand but I am only bringing it up because it seems to be a common hand. Should I be doing something trickier to build the pot or is this play fine?

No.
Resist the urge to be tricky. Don't let a flush draw take one off for free on the flop. Don't let a draw get there or Kx to get a cheap showdown on the turn. Value bet your top-2 on the river.

Ni'han.

Party .50/1 players will pay you off with rubbish without you having to do anything tricky to provoke action.

It wouldn't be far wrong to never play tricky at .50/1.

For the majority of hands just play straight forward ABC poker.

EDIT: Come to think of it how can you play this tricky? Giving free cards or not pushing you equity edge preflop would be bad.

Where exactly were you planning to get tricky? There isn't a lot of room.
