Default WSOP Circuit Tourney - Short Report

Stopped by Harrah's around noon on Sunday after a 24 hour marathon poker session at the Trop. They were a bit slow getting things organized, so most of the players were milling around and chatting with each other. Most were complaining about the structure.

One table was set off in the front of the room as the "featured table." This table was closest to the area where spectators were allowed to be. Tables were nine-handed. The following players sat down, Eric Seidel, Layne Flack, Ted Forrest, Steve Zolotow, Jim Miller and two other players. A few minutes after they started, Men the Master comes over wearing pants that have Men and Master embroidered on them. He looks at the table, shakes his head and just says "what the" There is, however, still one empty seat. After another 20 minutes, Phil Ivey walks up and takes that seat. Several players at the table asked the TD how this could of happened. The players were discussing how many bracelets the players at the table held. They suggested bringing Doyle over if somebody got knocked out.

Ivey and Negreanu were out within the first two hours. Fossilman was out before the dinner break, but hung around to chat, pose for photos and sign autographs.

I need to sleep some more after not sleeping Saturday night now, so I will say no more.
