Default Aspiring Poker Dealer

I’m planning on moving to Vegas in a month or 2 to become a poker dealer. I am planning on attending dealer school first thing when I get down there. Does anyone have any experience dealing in vegas or has anyone attended a dealer school? How much do dealers make on average? Also does anyone know of anyone looking for a roommate in vegas! I am looking to find a place to live with people who love poker! Thanks in advance for any thoughts positive or negative

the minimum is taxed down to about .42/2-weeks. all your money will be from tips, so deal as quickly as you can and keep the players happy.

Since its a well know fact that poker dealers suck at poker, I feel becoming a dealer could be quite detrimental to your game.

income is always taxable. There are very few exceptions (tax free bonds come to mind)

vegas is the worst place deal. i would deal in tunica, gulf coast or cali. i started as a chip runner then became a dealer. dealer school was free and i was a chip runner for about 2 months.
its a boring job thats easy and pays well with little room for advancement.

depends if your toke box gets counted. If the tips go into your pocket at the table then its up to you to report it.
