Default No help by the river... Rip my line apart!

Here's a 5/10NL hand I messed up badly today. All comments welcome. The game is six max, I've just sat down and have no notes on the players.

I'm in the BB ($1000) with AdTd. UTG and UTG+1 fold. MP ($600) raises to 30. Button ($1200) calls and SB folds, I call.
3 to the flop ($95)

Flop 10s 4d 7d

Giving me TPTK and the nut flush draw. I check (?) MP bets $50 and Button calls. I come alive and raise to 200, expecting to take the pot. MP folds but Button calls.

Turn ($550) Js

No help... I fire out for $450 (?). Button Calls.

River ($1450) Qs

Still no help.... I check and Button goes all-in for about $300 more.

I think I played this badly on every street but the flop C/R was criminal...
Comments welcome

Still learning

It's a tricky hand, I'd probably end up butchering it like you did.

The 'correct' line (I think), is to keep the pot small and merely call. Your stack is way too big to reraise allin, and if you bloat the pot with a raise to 200 (ideally 300, imo), you are in a pretty bad situation if a non-diamond turns. You may then find yourself pushing in with poor odds against something like JJ.

edit - Or lead out and then check the turn. I really have no idea either

Hopefully some better players will be along to give their views though.

I really don't like the checkraise on the flop (as you already know). If I do check, I really try to keep the pot small by check / calling a small bet then either price yourself in with a stop and go or check / call or check / fold on the turn.

If you want to play this hand aggressively, bet out the pot and hope for a raise so you can push in. If called (no raise), then try to price yourself in on the turn or check and see what develops. When called on the flop, you're probably against an overpair, so it's up to you if you want to try and push someone off it.

yeah, either lead out so you can reraise big (all in), or keep the pot small.

alot of posts lately have been questioning what to do on the turn after CR a draw on the flop and whiffing the turn.

its not a good play 90% of the time.
