This brings up an interesting question. Do any of you that play 5/10 or higher, even bother to chase bonuses that arent at the skin you normally play at?

I dont anymore, I dont keep a big enough roll in neteller so that I can cash into a diff skin and still play 5/10, and its to much of a pain in the ass to cashout from empire so I can deposit at party to chase a $100 bonus, especaially since its not that much more than what I get in rakeback.

Im guessing at 10/20 it becomes completely -EV just from a rakeback issue alone.

Last month I was debating whether or not to do the $200 bonus and one of my friends laid it out nicely for me. I'll try to regurgitate what he said.

It took about 1800 hands to clear the $200 bonus at 5/10 6-max. That takes about 5 hours 4-tabling. So the bonus is paying you $40 an hour. If you are making more than $40 an hour from rakeback then you are getting a better rate than I.

The same should apply to this bonus. $100 bonus, fewer hands needed to clear. I think that it's worth it, even for 10/20 players.

I wonder if you even need to go into the hourly crap. $200/1800 hands = $0.11/hand. I think I get about $0.05 per hand from rakeback. Do the mighty 10/20 players get more that 11 cents per hand? I doubt it.

well I know at 5/10 I get about $20 an hour from rake back 4 tabling. So my thinking is that its not worth the hassle for an extra hundred bucks (Id make $100 in 5 hours where I am now, as opposed to $200 at party).

but yeah, I guess even at 10/20 its still +EV just from a which is more standpoint. I wonder at what limit rakeback becomes more than bonus.

the rake is capped at 3 usd so any games with average pots over 60 usd is the same regarding rakeback...

Please tell me where you got this information. Usually, I get an email with bonus offers; never got one with 4 different offers. Can you clarify for me please?

I think this bonus has been rescinded (sp?). Check the Internet Forum for latest thread(s).

Apparently these bonuses are used to get players who have been inactive for a while to start playing again. I have recieved no notification regarding these bonuses either. However, my roommate recieved a popup regarding the jan05rel bonus.

Not really true, because the small pots at higher levels will generate more rake than the small pots at low levels. I guess that rake/hand would max out at 30/60 where any hand that sees a flop will hit the max rake.

I don't think rakeback is ever higher than bonuses. I still bonus whore Party at 15/30. Hey, an extra $50 or $100 for a minute or two of 'work' beyond my regular routine is pretty damn good pay.
