Default 12/24 Hand..Payoff the river?

Typically lag CA BM game with 3-4 terrible players and the rest ok but too loose. For those who don't know, the game is typically played with a 4-2-1 blind structure. Two MP limpers (M1 and MP2), I complete on button with
J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB calls
Flop is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Blinds check, MP1 bets, MP2 calls, I raise, blinds fold, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.
Turn is 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
MP1 checks, MP2 checks, I bet, MP1 calls (after making extravagant motions at his chips for a 2nd time), MP2 folds.
River is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
MP1 bets,
Pot is 8 BB
me?? Only read I have on this opponent is that he is not terrible (i.e. hasn't gone to the river with no pair, no draw yet like some others at this game) but took a weird line on a hand a round or 2 ago where he c/r 2 players with KT on an AKx flop. Your help is much appreciated, as this is a fairly frequent situation that may be a leak in my game.
