Default FW wait times

I'm heading to Foxwoods this Friday evening. We're treating my wife's cousin and her fiance to dinner and a night at the casino. Naturally, I'd like to play some poker -- if we arrive around 9:00 pm, is there any chance I'll be seated at a 5-10 or 10-20 table before the sun comes up?

If it weren't a holiday weekend, I'd say you'd be fine. The waits for 5/10 and 10/20 usually aren't bad. You'd be screwed if you wanted a yellow chip seat though. I'm not sure because of the holiday weekend.

Pardon the n00b question, but....

What's a yellow seat? 1/2?

The yellow-birds are $2 chips. The lowest level they spread is a 2/4.

If you know anyone who regularly plays at Foxwoods, I'd call and ask them to put you on the lists. You're going to be waiting for a long time.

If you get on the lists before you eat, you might not have to wait too long when you get back to the room, though...

I always call them yellow-tails, like the fish. It seems appropriate.
