$10-20 6-handed hand played correctly or not?
heres a hand i recently played on doylesroom. i think i may have overplayed the turn but think i made a good laydown on the river. what do you guys think?
Preflop Action: UTG raises. 2nd player folds. i call with [A8] suited (should i have raised?) button folds. sb folds. bb calls. Flop Action: [A] [3] [8] bb checks. UTG raiser bets. i just call planning to raise turn and hoping for overcall by big blind. big blind folds. Turn Action: [A] [3] [8] [J] UTG raiser bets out. i raise. UTG raiser reraises. i cap it (too aggressive?) River Action: [A] [3] [8] [J] [J] UTG raiser bets out. i think about it and fold thinking im outkicked. |

Re: $10-20 6-handed hand played correctly or not?
i think the pot is laying you good odds to call the river
cold call preflop is fine, but i dont play 6-max rings so i may be mistaken turn cap seems a mistake cuz ur up against an UTG preflop raiser and with no read, i respect it. but becasue u capped the turn, u need to call the river. |

cold call preflop is fine on a preflop raise ur hand is most likely gonna be dominated by a better ace.. i would definately not cold call, maybe with a cold caller behind u, but its really not worth calling if anything u could be super aggresive and 3 bet him preflop but thats not so good. i'd just lay this down preflop |
