Default 65 in BB Hand

I know pre-flop leaves something to be desired, but the SB and I have been hammering each other, and he'll pay me off if I flop a big hand. What I'm wondering about is how the post-flop play is. Is the turn raise too big? Not enough? I always seem to have a problem knowing how much to bet when I catch trips on the turn.

PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $2-5 game (4 handed)

UTG ($383)
Button ($88)
SB ($667)
Hero($490)

Preflop:Hero is in BB with 6 , 5 .
2 folds, SB raises to $22, Hero calls .

Flop: ($22) 6, 4, 7 (2 players)
SB bets $51, Hero calls.

Turn: ($73) 6 (2 players)
SB bets $40, doucet81 raises to $225, SB calls $185.

River: ($443) 5 (2 players)
SB checks, doucet81 bets $232 (All-In), SB calls $232.

Final Pot: $907

I don't know what kinds of hands you and the SB have been playing together but this seems kind of crazy aggressive. On the river, you've got the baby boat, so I might have just checked behind since only a hand that beats you is probably going to call. Then again, I tend to play pretty tight and almost always check behind on the river, unless I have the stone cold nuts.

this is an easy value bet on the river. i would have raised this flop and gladly gotten my money into the middle. if sb reraised you then he may have an overpair and i think pushing is fine.

You would raise the flop? Huh, I'd like to hear some more on that.

His $51 dollar bet on the flop didn't seem like two big cards to me, but an overpair, which makes me think it's better to call here and see what develops on the turn.

I agree, the river was the easiest part of the hand, he doesn't have 77 or 76 here.

I don't know that a raise here is called for, if villain really will pay you off when you hit huge. You are still an underdog to an overpair, although not by much:
cards win %win lose %lose tie %tie EV
6s 5s 442 44.65 524 52.93 24 2.42 0.459
Ac Ad 524 52.93 442 44.65 24 2.42 0.541

However, if you think he'll pay you off, that means you have to assume your folding equity is pretty low, so why raise the stakes when he might come back at you? I say keep calling until you hit a monster, and then value bet him when you hit. If you don't hit, you've minimized your losses.
