sort of a beer goggle effect ($8.80 2-table)
Both of these hands seemed like the old college days - get a few beers in you, meet a beautiful lady, the evening is full of promise and you make the best of it...next morning you wake up next to some hag wearing your favorite shirt. Anyways, I don't claim these hands to be especially interesting other than the imagery they invoked...
Hand 1 (10/20): K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in BB, three limpers. Flop is Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Checked to villain who min bets, another guy min raises, hero and villain call. Turn is the T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], and of course the villain had the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. The perils of slowplaying... Two hands later (15/30). Hero gets 22 on the button and limps behind 2 limpers, SB min raises, BB folds and everyone else calls. Flop is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB min bets, 2 calls, I bet the pot and get two calls including the villain from hand 1. Turn is another heart and the villain pushes. |
