Default 99, Wait for turn?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

UTG+1 is LP-P, SB is TA-A(15/7).

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, Hero calls, MP2 calls, MP3 raises, CO folds, Button folds, SB 3-bets, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (16 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB bets, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls, MP2 folds, MP3 folds.

Turn: (9.50 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, SB folds, UTG+1 calls.

River: (14.50 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 folds.

Final Pot: 15.50 BB

Preflop: it was a loose somewhat passive game, shouuld i raise anyway?

Is this the kind of hand where your edge grows much larger if a safe card comes on the turn that you should wait until then to raise?

I wouldn't even wait till the flop..I think a raise pf is in order..Since that didn't happen, im definitely raising this flop..Your not gonna like about half of the possible turn cards.

I'd raise preflop, but I like your postflop play here. Offering 10:1 you aren't going to get many hands, if any, to fold on the flop.

I would have raised this PF but I dont think the difference between raising or not is that significant. I think I would go ahead and raise the flop due to the size of the pot. This would hopefully get the two players that would have to cold call two to fold (even though they did anyway). It may also make overcards fold on an unimproved turn. IMO, this pot is big enough that you want to try and win it right away with what is likely the best hand at the moment. Just my thoughts.

Raise preflop. I think my comments on your postflop play would be worthless because I would never limp here and it changes the way everything plays out.
