Default KQo from BB 2/4 live at Commerce

Villain relatively new to table. Said he moved from 1/2 because his table complained he was raising too much. Comments on all streets appreciated.

Hero in BB with KQ
Villain raises in UTG+1
one or two calls, Hero calls.
Flop Q 9 7 rainbow
Hero bets, Villain Calls, rest fold
Turn 5 (making two flush on the board)
Hero bets, Villain Raises, Hero Calls
River offsuit K
Hero checks, Villain Bets, Hero Raises, Villain calls.

" Said he moved from 1/2 because his table complained he was raising too much."

In light of that evidence and out of BB, why not.

Because he said it, and it wasn't observed. And even if it's true, KQ and AJ are dominated at worst and slight dogs so I'd fold and move on to the next one.

pretty moot point i guess, since i fold that 100$ to a raise from EP, but I am naive

Good point, but the 2/4 games at Commerce are pretty loose. An EP raise doesn't neccesarily mean AK/Q or a pair. KJs, JTs and Axs are all distinct possibilities.

Edit:
My main question here is the check-raise on the river. I think I get called by worse hands (AK/Q) or a worse two pair often enough. But I really had no idea what he had after the raise on the turn. (Q5s is stretching it quite a bit, even in these loose games).

You're missing my point. Even if the hands you list are possibilities (and you don't know, you suspect given his table banter) you will make a lot of second best hands and have to pay off. I would call with 87s there. Do you see why?

And I'm perfectly familiar with both loose games and loose-aggressive games.
