2+2 forum cookie annoying for anyone else?

I'm not an expert in web technologies, but it looks like the 2+2 forum login is set to expire about every 2 weeks. Also, when I do re-login, it kicks me out of whatever I was doing back to the main page. This all happens regardless of computer, connection, OS, or browser.

I dunno, but I dont like the green bar on the side whi wasnt there till 2 months ago...... am i missing something?

Lots of problems as you describe--but I keep telling myself "It's free, it's free".
