Default Party Poker Million Semi-Finals - Need for extra starting chips??

I won a one table satellite for an entry into the PP Million Semi-Finals, but I had been playing mostly on Stars, so I don't have any extra starting chips for this months Semis. How big of a disadvantage is it to have only 1000 starting chips? Should I try to accumulate chips this month and wait until February to play in the semis? I plan to try to qualify for as many semis as I can get in. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think you can carry forward your buy in to next month - please check

I think you can carry the freeroll forward. Yes the extra chips are very important. How can you play with 1000 chips when the average will be 2550 and most have 3000?

Yes, you need more chips. Almost everyone will have 3000. As for the semifinals go to the lobby and see if you can register your free roll for Feb.

Thanks for the info. I'll wait until Feb. I checked with Party and I can carry over the freeroll.
