If the person between the dealer and big blind bust out the previous hand what is the standard method for getting the blinds correct again?

There is just a dead small blind (i.e. none posted) at the empty seat for that hand, and then it goes back to normal.

so it's ok for one person to be the dealer twice? i.e. get to act last.

My fault, I misunderstood the question. In that case, it will be a dead BUTTON for the next hand. So yeah, I guess the same person essentially gets to act last twice in a row.

[/ QUOTE ] Yes... best to play the Dead Button Rule (see Button Help ) If both blinds bust out then the same person is the dealer three times. Remember these two things: 1) The button doesn't move until blinds are back on track 2) If BB busts than there is no small blind for the next hand. - Fins |
