Default \"Philadelphia\" chipset

This would be a pokerchips.com set that I could pretty easily dish out to various scattered relatives...

(I'm waiting for my Egyptian and other samples that are in the mails...)

Art is just a placeholder... it is the colors I'm concerned about. (Eagles / Flyers colors)

Are you looking for chip owners to give you color recomendations Wasn't clear on the purpose of your post.

I wasn't clear about the purpose of the post. I don't know that I had a strong purpose beyond playing with ways to simulate how stacks of chips would look...

Someone had posted about a "Philadelphia" set back in the thread about chip set ideas. My wife likes the Eagles and the Flyers so I'd worked up a set around those.

As a practical question, do you think that there would be any confusion between the 1s (white with green 312) and 25s (green with gray 312)... am I better off going with a signal green instead of lawn green on the white chips?

Thanks

Pinata

If your relatives are Philly fans, giving them potential projectiles to be used at sporting events might not be the best idea. This is the crew that had a judge and jail at the Vet afterall.

In regards to your question, I could see some confustion between the 1s and 25s, perhaps a different shade might be a good idea. Hard to say though, because when you're dealing with team colors, they should be consistent (ie the same green on the 1s and 25s would ideally be used).

There's a reason we're not going with the 16g chips.

Another question on Edge spots from a newb.

I've seen the 3 "doubles" (e.g. pokerchips.com customs). Are the 3 "doubles ever done in different colors? That is WHITE CHIP with XX YY ZZ - 3 different colors as a double spot?

See "A" and "B" on image

For the next question see "C" in the image above. Are the spots ever done AB BC CA so the same color would be toward each other on the chip? If the answer to B is 'that's never done' then C is moot.

Next question... somewhat related. See "D" and "E" on the above image... For D I think I've seen 4 'singles' done in opposing colors by pairs. Is it ever done as in E?

And somewhat like C are '4 doubles' ever done AB BA AB BA? I recall seeing an error chip like that somewhere...

Thanks

You could have the sports teams, Ben, and the Liberty Bell.

Small world man. This past summer was my first year in PADA. (Assuming you're BC.)
